An easy to grow spindle tree providing fine autumn colour and colourful berries
This Euonymus europaeus (also known as Spindle) is a deciduous, bushy hedging plant admired for its cerise coloured berries that cover the plant in autumn. As the season progresses, these berries will split to reveal orange seeds, resulting in a colourful pairing of pink and orange. The abundant, ovate-shaped leaves gracefully hang from the plant, and will turn gold, and eventually orange in autumn. Please note, the berries are harmful if eaten.
