A classic cider apple, bearing scarlet fruits with a hard, bittersweet taste
Malus domestica ‘Tremlett’s Bitter’ is a true cider apple, well known for its hard, bittersweet flavour that makes it an excellent variety for producing dry, single variety ciders. The fruits are of a classic, scarlet shade, making them beautifully ornamental as they are useful. When ready, they will naturally fall from the tree- so we recommend placing a net underneath to ensure that nothing goes to waste! Please note, this variety has a biannual habit, so there will be a plentiful crop one year, and a little less fruits the following.
